Painting by Haruyo Morita
To date, this is my biggest puzzle. It is made in the form of a triptych of three paintings. My Delta does not allow me to work with such large whole pieces, so I connected 3 pieces, cutting it together as a sandwich.
Total size 970*510mm (38,2" *20")...

Bouquet of Flowers in an Urn
Paintig by Jan van Huysum
I used for this puzzle creative style of cutting, invented by John Stokes. This is a very time consuming way to create puzzles, but the result looks very impressive.

Escher Lizard Pieces
The cut of this puzzle is based on one of the lizard tessellations of the Dutch artist M C Escher. The internal pieces are complete lizards, and the turtle pattern is carried over to the edge pieces, resulting in partial lizard pieces.
The puzzle image is "Wheatfield with Crows"...You do not have permission to view this gallery.

False Corners
Having read on this forum that Antori Pancco had included false corners in his jigsaw puzzle, I decided to give it a try.
I thought it would be particularly effective with my diagonal cut, since this cut doesn't have any real corner pieces, each corner being built from a pair of edge...Last edited by turtleteasers; 05-17-2015, 03:37 PM.

"Dylan's Forest Kingdom"
I just finished cutting this jigsaw puzzle tonight, and it was made as a surprise for a nice little 6 year old boy, and very big puzzle enthusiast, who is the son of a friend.
The puzzle was cut from 1/4" mahogany ply, and is 12" x 12" in size. It has about 180 pieces,...

"Butterfly Garden" Multilevel Jigsaw Puzzle
"Butterfly Garden" is one of my multilevel puzzles which was just completed tonight. It has 6 individual layers of thickness, and is about 5" x 7" in size. There are about 35 pieces, which were cut from cherry ply. The original picture is from a greeting card I purchased.

"Elizabeth's Magical Snow Globe"
When I designed my first "Snow Globe Puzzle," I decided not to share this particular one on the forum, largely because it was emotional to me and I wanted to keep it personal. Over a year later, however, as I'm working on the (long overdue) updating of my website, I came across some pictures...Last edited by Scrolling Days; 01-12-2014, 01:27 AM.

"Ringing in the Holidays"
I have to say that cutting all of these multilevel Christmas card puzzles has helped to put me in the "Holiday mood" this season.
In this small puzzle, which is about 5" x 7", a young child dressed for the weather rings a doorbell with a few cheerful presents in...

"Holiday Tidings" Jigsaw Puzzle
Here is another multilayered holiday puzzle I cut a few days ago. Similar to "Peace," this one has four unique levels of thickness, and has approximately 40 pieces. It was cut from mahogany plywood. The picture is from a nice holiday card I purchased, and measures about 5" x 7"...

"It Takes A Village" Jigsaw Puzzle
"It Takes A Village" is a puzzle I made for a local school, and it will be auctioned off this weekend at a Gift Gala. The name of the puzzle is reflective of the theme of the gala, and of the school motto itself, in that it takes the support of a community, to raise a child.

"Ship of Dreams" Jigsaw Puzzle
So today was my son's 10th birthday, and he is a huge Titanic buff. It's not so much the disaster which has his interest, as it is the ship itself. He's read a lot of books on the topic, and knows a fair amount of trivia.
As a gift, I decided to cut him a Titanic puzzle, which was...
