That was the book that opened my eyes to how beautiful scroll saw bowls could be. I adapted his technique so a router wasn’t necessary, and used his beautiful bowls as an inspiration to develop my own style.
I did try one of his cut rims back then. It was the first and last attempt I...

Glad you asked! Glue on the inside seam can be a bear to remove. Here are some hints that might help:

Very nicely done. The OSB bowl is interesting; I've heard of OSB but never tried it out. Your other bowls also show a great deal of attention and care.

Thanks, Betty. I appreciate the info, and plan to start a long-overdue shop clean-up day tomorrow. After dandelion removal with my dedicated tool, and neatening up the edges of the patio. Maybe even after cleaning the bathroom?

SuperMax 19-38 question
What are the best products for lubricating the conveyor bushings, and for lubricating the threaded rod? While the manual gives general info for each, (lubricant for the bushings, and dry lubricant spray for the rod) I don't know how to translate this generic advice into specific products. Any advice...

Your work is lovely, both original and nicely crafted. The Ginger Jar was always one of my favorite pieces, inspired by a porcelain ginger jar lamp that my partner gave me when I turned 60. He helped me figure out how to use compound cutting to create the base from wood, and it was truly a labor of...
