Thank-you all, I gave her the rooster at the party tonight and she loved it.

Hey all,
Just thought I'd share a scrolling (to show I haven't sold the old Yellow thingy)
It's a rooster I made for my neighbour's birthday.

Hi All,
Just saw the thread and wanted to thank you all for the nice wishes.
Been real busy with the new job, it's going great but I'm having to learn tons of new stuff.

Hey Jeff,
Congrats on the Guild acceptance: Your entry is certainly a step above the commonly seen pens in forums!
You say you haven't found the right persons to share your techniques with, but as a scroller and penturner I would certainly be interested to discuss them. (And...

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for neglecting you all :-(

The offer I made is an open one, so don't be shy about it.
And Barry (if my memory serves me right) is right: NO WAY you can have the...

That is really nice work considering you have no lathe.
Congrats on a job well done.
What finish do you apply on them?

Same here in Canada John,
They are starting to talk about doing the same for 5$ bills (replace them with coins) If I recall correctly (not sure about the numbers) a bill has a life expectancy of about 2 years, where a coin is something like 10 years.
Anyways the point was...

I'm putting my moderator hat on and I'm closing this thread.
Non-bashing and non-personal things have been said, and anything else added would probably become derogatory in nature.
This thread was not meant to air dirty laundry, it was meant as an innocent request to win a...

Steve I think you missed reading this entry in the thread.
What I find troubling is those that made negative comments about my request did not present entries of their own.
And by the way I don't think any of the entries are better than the others, they are just different....Last edited by Marcel in Longueuil; 07-25-2008, 12:18 PM. Reason: Removed bashing that was too personal to another site
