How do you like Coyote software?
What's the scoop with Coyote software? For those that have it do you love it, hate it, or are you luke warm. Was it worth the $$$$$. I have both Adobe Elements and Paint Shop Pro X but my pattern making is iffy at best. Does it really do what it says it will? Will I find happiness in pattern making?...

Did any of you take an old gallon paint can, punch a small hole in the bottom, spit on a piece of carbide like they used in the mines for miner's light, put the lid on, wait a minute or two while the gases built up, hold a match to the hole in the bottom and blow the lid off? That's one of the things...

Mooner, I grew up in Springfield, Il and graduated high school in Chicago in 1959. What's amazing is that even though we were worlds apart in those times, what you wrote was a duplicate of what I lived.
As far as drugs were concerned, you got them from the drug store.

Just to back you up, here's what I sent.
I too received a 788 last December with a bad table that appeared to have the blade hole punched after machining. This problem has been heavily discussed on the Scroll Saw Workshop Forum, which I suggest your supervisors monitor. The table I...

Marcel, Just one question about the bathroom fan. Are you sure that it doesn't spark when you turn it on? Many of the things we finish with are explosive. Anyone else have info on the type of fans that don't spark when you flip the switch?

Hi,
I think I'm the one who brought this up in December. My Dewalt was bought from Western Tool in Portland and after checking their stock for an exchange, all theirs had the same problem. Not to worry. Dewalt has a repair station about 3 miles east of the Portland airport. Give them...

I might be missing something but if it's a new saw, Sears will usually take item back for credit or refund. If it's not the right one, give that some consideration. Good luck with whatever you do.

The heck with the spelling, Evie's scrolling can run circles around a lot of people on this forum. All I can say about your frame is WOW....
While it may be funny to a few, making fun of people who are here to show their work and share with others might make them uncomfortable and...

Eyes for segmentation and intarsia
I have a panda segmentation pattern that I want to make eyes from a small piece of 1/8" dowel. The wood will be 1/4" BB that I will paint. My question is, do you drill the hole for the eyes 1/8" and force the dowel piece in , drill a little larger hole and glue the eye dowel or is...

I just did a couple of freehand puzzles for my brother and sister-in-law and they loved them. The neat thing about doing them freehand is you can make some long narrow odd shaped pieces with the head and neck connecting pieces, tiny little pieces, small pieces without connecters and any other shape...
