    The Birds and Bloom Mag has a lot of bird houses in them...well one a month or so. My Mom use to take it and gave me her copy when she read it. They can be googled to get an sneak peek.....by the way it is a bird mag so I hope I am not stepping on toes here.

  • Hi Brad -- Having a sears comversion kit on my old central machine saw I think the problem you are having is caused by setting your tension to tight.I have no problem with the kit holding blades and have only had problems with operator error. the tension doesn't have to be real tight to do the job....

    I would shape them with the sanding bands and sanding disk with my dremel . I used my dremel for most of my sanding on my segmentation and had real good luck with it.

    dON'T GET FRUSTRATED CANNON IT is a simple problem and easy to fix. By the way I was a Cannon for 16 years myself --snicker -- any way I have a Craftsman and I wouldn't use anything else.     Dale-- try the larger size spirals too-- they are awsome for cutting a bigger kerf and that makes me go down only one side instead of trying to go down two.. I have really gotten spoiled on my spirals and I like the larger better. You don't have as much blade breakage and as stated before- less cutting...

    I have to throw a rock in the road here and say I use 2 way on most all of my scrolling except for portrates- with the exception of portrates and there I use spirals. I am so use to using spirals that I use them as much as I can on most of my work except for intarsia. there I use a 2 way
