    Thanks for the update Rolf.
I contacted them and they said they would be at the Dubuque show last weekend, but they did not show up.
Their phone number had a message for one to leave a message and they would get back to you.
Are they having problems with production or something?...

Has anyone received and used the Bishop Clamp system? It looks like a nice unit to have for intarsia projects.

I find it quite useful for getting the backside of intarsia projects flat. Especially to get glue lines and to get uneven
wood projects flat. The different sanding grits are easy to change by the velcro backing. Most of the sanding I do is with 100 grit
To get pieces of wood that need...

I also use Bounty paper towels for applying wipe on poly. Be sure to get plain white and not ones with color imprints.
How do I know, the colors will bleed into your project.

I pretty much only use Pegas blades and use the 2/0 blades for inlay projects with 1/8" material.

I received my copy 2 days ago, July 12. First time through looking for the fox and I found it.
    Many good articles as usual.
My current project is an intarsia tiger and cub.

I just talked (Thursday evening) to my son who lives near Poughquag NY, not too far from Carole. They had about 19"-22" of snow from the storms. They lost power for about 5 hours. The kids had no school last Friday, this Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. They received word that there will...

I live in Minnesota but my son and his family live between Green Haven and Poughquag. So you are close to him.
His woodworking skills are house maintenance, garden fences, landscaping. His father in law helps too.

I have made a lot of wood items as gifts and he...

I got the Festool vacuum also and I find it fits directly into the extraction port of the Jet oscillating spindle sander.
I searched around trying to find an adapter but could not find one. Why Jet has their own size port is really a pain to adapt to.

    Typist needed

This was in our local newspaper today. I got a good chuckle out of it and hope you do to.

A soldier was asked to report to headquarters for assignment. The Sergeant said: "We have a critical shortage of typists. I'll give you a little test. Type this," he ordered, giving him...

    Shelby now in Doggy Heaven

I posted about Shelby last Oct 26 about her failing health. Her owner, Mike, stopped by yesterday and said they decided to put her to sleep today about 1 PM. She can longer climb one step. She can walk around the garage the best she can. My wife and I still had been seeing her almost daily with...
