I am wanting to cut this portrait for Christmas for some of my close friends. Attached is the photo -- it is actually a photo of the baby meeting Santa from last year, but, i have already cut out Santa, etc.
Also attached is the pattern I made. It looks a little...

Family Portrait Help!

Thank you very much! I tried stack cutting, oh goodness, much better. I have done 1/8" before, but, using two made it actually work. I was able to cut much more intricately than I ever had before.
Thanks.

Cutting Thin Wood
Hi,
I am a relatively new Scroller. I have cut thin wood before for portraits, and haven't had much trouble. Lately though, I have been trying to cut one on a plywood oak 1/8" (what I ususally use), and the movement of the blade causes tension in the wood, and makes other delicate...

Tree Pattern
Hello Everyone,

Help with a photo, please!
I tried making my first portrait, using photo editors. I have never cut one before -- I just started scrolling in October. I thought it worked out ok, but, when I cut them piece, it seems like the girl is sort of skeletal and disconnected. He really looked like "it was him", and she just...

Scroll Saw Magazine Back Issue
Does anyone have Summer 2006 issue? I believe number 23?
There is a lighthouse pattern in it, by Robin Arnold, that I saw at a book at a bookstore, that I would really like. The book is $25 from Barnes and Noble, and I am hoping not to spend that much, so, if anyone out there has the...
