  • Circular fretwork wall clock pattern

More than a few years ago there was a pattern printed in the magazine for a circular fretwork wall clock. I had it but I cannot locate it; probably was lost when we moved to South Carolina. This is a long shot but if anyone remembers it and can send me a copy I would appreciate it. Thanks, Joe D.

Hi. Have you tried a Sand O Flex? It works for me. I use one with 320 for pine and 240 on hardwood. The cut "fingers" get into all of the small curved areas. I mount it on an old drill press and spin at a mod/slow speed. The contact info is in my garage and right now the strong wind and rain...

  • The rules that Anthony Berone reminded us all of are great. We should all practice them. Add one more to the list: When some one comes into your shop, be it spouse, stranger or otherwise; STOP what you are doing and TURN OFF any machinery that you are working on. Don't ask me how I know this, (Father-in...

  • Thanks for the heads up on the Triple Thick Mike. Can you suggest an alternative that's available in a spray can. I don't have a compressor for the application. Flintlockjoe.

  • Hi group. I have a question concerning spraying a top coat as Sawdustus advises. I'm pretty new at this so please bear with me. Right now I'm cutting easy animal and dino stand up puzzles in poplar and pine. Do I separate the pieces and only spray the tops and try to avoid the sides and keys? I plan...

Thanks Guys! The Allen Wrench tip is just what I needed to fix the bent blade problem. I couldn't believe how loose the set screw was. Luckily I found one old wrench that fit! The tape advice is good and I think that I'll put it on the bottom also. My feed rate is fairly slow I think. I have to remember...

    Blade Clamp Issue

Hello Group. I am still practicing and trying to develop better skills on my 788. I have a question concerning blades bending when I crank up the thumb screw on the top clamp. The blade does not bend in the lower clamp. When I say they bend, I mean about 30 degrees. If I straighten out the bend sometimes...

  • Hi Guys. I did try Fox Chapel and Alibris Marketplace without success. I even mentioned it to my wife and kids to look when they stop at garage sales. The only chance I think that I have is if someone is slimming down their collectin and wants to make a personal sale. Have a great day, Flintlockjoe...

Thanks for the concern Mike. It brings to mind my High School Chem Teacher captivating our attention with his instructions of how to build a flour bomb and its destructive capabilities. Today a teacher would find themselves in hot water for even bringing up the subject. Have a great day, Flintlockj...

These are great plans Michael. After I get them copied I'll find some better stock than I have on hand to do them justice. Looks like I'll be busy for awhile. I can't thank you enough!!! Flintlockjoe.

Hi Michael. No I don't have the patterns. I was going to try to free hand them but if you have an easier and better way I'm all for it!
