I agree with your Dad. In my professional career I had no mentor and did not want others facing the struggles and learning curve I had. With younger ones who wanted to learn I told them I will share all of my knowledge and insights with you so you have a head start. I also told them I...

It all has to do with selflessness vs selfishness and basic male over compensation for our insecurities. Testosterone is an entirely different problem we have to deal with. I agree toys are not just for boys but with your permission I would still like to refer to places I shop as the big...Last edited by Flying Pigs; 02-28-2018, 07:23 AM.

I use spirals but there is no reason reverse tooth would not still work. The Seyco started with a larger distance between tabletop and arm and although I did not measure, the height of the washers probably did not push the new tabletop much higher than the original tabletop with the magnetic top....

I could not keep the magnetic top slick either. I finally removed it and because of the hole in the Seyco tabletop I had a machinest friend make a new tabletop. The stiffness in raising the upper arm will loosen. I loosened the adjusting screw also and did not notice any difference but after the first few hours of raising and lowering it loosened and I had to tighten the set screw a little - not as tight as original but then I had loosened...

I have now scrolled for several hours with the Seyco. It has been an enjoyable experience. I think the Seyco ran smoothly at all speeds and was at least as good as my EX when the my EX was new so, other than the assembly issues previously discussed and which Ray is remedying, I am pleased with my...

The rectangular hole was not discussed and nothing in the manual about it. Ray has a lot on his plate and the conversation was really confined to the assembly issues and not to any of my other comments. By the way, the hole is 5 1/2 x 1....

Another update - Ray read my post and I just had a satisfying call with him which I hope I relate properly. They are doing different legs for the bench top mount and if you have already ordered and intend to use the bench top mount for the frame you should be in touch with Ray so that he may process...Last edited by Flying Pigs; 05-25-2017, 03:45 PM.
