I have that pattern. Have no idea where I got it from. I had to copy from a magazine as it is on blue paper. There’s also a whale on my copy. I’ll look for it. I think I know where it is.Last edited by will8989; Yesterday, 11:15 AM.

I’ve seen demos at the woodworking shows of the deer but they never were that small. That would be a cute display for a fireplace mantle.

Bruce loved it! He’s going to make some for when we go to the market next time and have one sitting on the table on top of a can as a display. He’s making one to keep the sawdust out of his cup. What a great idea!...

I like the angle of the wood. They now have kits that can be salt or pepper. It has ceramic instead of metal....

The original was cut on a round slice of wood. Since I didn’t have that, I improvised. CWC Sept, 2004, has the pattern....

Amazing work. Bruce’s new favorite place is Marshall’s. We found a large bamboo cutting board for $4 that will make something great.

Ours was always held at the state fair ground where Pimlico racetrack is. Slowly, vendors started changing to gutters, cleaning supplies, pickles, etc., and people just stopped coming. Peachtree pulled out a few years ago due to the illness of the owner, I believe. Then attendance really turned down....Last edited by will8989; 05-05-2022, 09:12 AM.

I’ve seen both fried marbles in the pan and baked. The ones in the pan have more fractures. Clear colored ones are beautiful. There’s Utube instructions to fry your own.
Karl, email sent. Thank you.

Pinterest, antique signs. There was a water picture that would be perfect. Put their name, established 2022, “antique” it. Perfect. There’s lots of other signs to get ideas from. Have fun with it!

We cleaned our workshop (basement) in January. Bruce’s side is still neat. He cleans up everyday when he’s done. My theory is, if I need it the next day, why put it away. Still looking for the wolf tail puzzle piece I lost this week. It’ll turn up sooner or later.

Too bad it’s so far and the beginning of our season for us. The Woodworking Show has pulled out of Baltimore until they get a new promoter. The closest is Chantilly, VA. Anything that has to do with 495 we totally avoid. Oh well....

And the factory rep says: dry spray with Teflon, Triflo. For the oil he uses sewing machine oil or 3 in1 oil, just a drop or two. He just called a few minutes ago. Hope this helps everyone.

I found it Rolf! Kelly’s Dragon. Creative woodworks, February 1997. The mag was on my worktable under some stuff. Imagine that happening.
