I have an older Ryobi BT 3000 table saw, the one with the real odd sliding miter gauge table to the left of the blade with Micky mouse miter fence gizmo rather than a standard top with the groove for a regular miter gauge. I've looked to see if there is a standard table top section with a regular miter...

In your 3rd photo from your show there are a couple of angel ornaments in boxes on the table. Those look very familiar, are they from the magazine? I thought they were but cannot find them anywhere here in the issues I have...

Hi all,

Just wondering, does anyone use any type of air sander for sanding their wood working items? I've never used one, so I've no idea if they would be suitable. Mostly I see random orbital, orbital, and jitterbug sanders online.

You never know what might or might not sell. Sometimes it just takes the right person to come along. I had a dragon plaque made from a Steve Good design that was put in a craft gallery and later drug to a number of shows until there was a lady at one show who collected dragons - sold!

Thanks for the replies...I reasoned that a 12 inch planer avg. price around $500.00, a 24 inch planer must be....hmm.average price more than I paid for last car for daughter....so, no, this will be going in someone else's shop, not mine!

Does anyone make a 24 inch planer these days, and if so, I wonder the price range? Guessing you won't such at any big box store, someone does make them and the price is probably about the same as a medium-sized John Deere tractor...

When checking to see if the top arm is parallel to the table, does it matter if there is a blade attached or blade attached & tensioned?

I don't think I've seen a true Craft Show in quite some time around here. What is advertised as Craft show is mostly either:
A: mostly direct sales vendors such as cosmetics, jewlery,scents,health gimmics
B: mostly flea market type stuff

There is one show put on in the Fall...

Seems like there should be some sort of slot or something on the saw or table where you can put it, like with the old 1980's Delta that had a thing on the side that...

Thanks, I keep thinking I would feel some solid stop or slot or something...

I don't think that I cranked up to full speed yet, but so far the vibration is very minimal, comparable to the EX. Will give a better report when I've had a bit more time cutting at full speed....
