okay, guys, i admit it--i tried it. i thought the pattern was so cool yet sooo simple. i cut it and the "top" part won't fit into the "bottom" part. not sure that's clear but you would think putting them together and cutting a line through them would make them fit together. didn't...Leave a comment:

good morning, mike. i had the same saw and the SAME problem a couple of years back. i replaced it with a Big Yeller Saw and haven't looked back. i could NOT believe the difference. i'd recommend getting the Dewalt (they won't get any cheaper) and be amazed. you'll even notice you do better work on a...Leave a comment:

uh, oh. shoulda asked! i glued one 3/4" x 4" board of maple, cedar, and walnut together (one on top of the other) using Tite Bond glue. after it dried i resawed it (put it on the bandsaw just like it was glued together and cut the edges off) and sanded the now 1 1/2" x 3/32" bookmarks....Leave a comment:

to cut or not to cut
my wife has been saying for years, "you need help!" well, now i KNOW i do. i bought a wonderful pattern of a mare and colt in a corral from wildwood design. i didn't notice that it was a BIG pattern (18"x23"), but after i got it i HAD to cut it. after i taped the three 8 1/2"x11"... -

help with dw788 vibration
morning, gang,
my "ole yellar" saw has been in its new box since december and i FINALLY was able to get it out to play yesterday. everything went well until i turned up the speed to five and there is a SERIOUS vibration from 5 on up and it gets worse the faster it goes. i'm talkin' BIG... -

morning, or afternoon, troops!
can anyone help me with patterns for oven pulls? i'm getting ready for this year's craftshows and want some less expensive items. the basic principle is simple but i wanted something more than just a plain pull, like a fish/snake/etc. i'll be glad to send... -
