Thanks Rolf. I bought some 6 mm X 1 grease fittings and they fit perfect. The packege had straight, 45 degree and 90 degree fittings. I used a small grinder and removed the ball and spring. I then drilled out the hole a little and fit a wood match end into the hole. I can drip oil into it just...

Thanks. I called Delta, Porter Cable and you are right, way to expensive. I did look at McMaster but i wasn't sure about the threads. I did find a zerk fitting to be very close so I am going to make one of them work. I might take the spring and ball out and drill it a little bigger for the oil and...

    Oil Hole Cover

I broke one of these and I can't seem to find another. My Delta P-20 has two of them for oiling the upper and lower arm. Can any one tell me where I can get them. Here is a picture. Thanks RichB...

replied to Loud knock in a Delta P-20
Here is a followup. I changed the two bearings on the coupler from the drive pulley and the lower arm and that wasn't the problem. Then I checked the shaft coupler and it was a little loose. I could not check it without taking the pulley assembly off and putting it in a vise and checking it. It...

Thanks DaveW. I have taken the saw apart to a point and am going to replace the two bearings on the connector from the drive pulley to the lower arm. It seams one bearing might have a broken ball in it. I hope to get some on Tuesday after the holiday. I will keep you posted.

Max. There is no knock when turning it by hand. At slow speed it has a little knock, as I increase speed it really gets loud. I took off the billow and it is still there. I can't move the arms side to side like a bad bearing. I can't move the connector with the upper and lower bearing side to side,...

Loud knock in a Delta P-20

I have done a lot of sawing on this saw and it has been the best. I have done three portraits of my grand kids, the Depot Clock which I have shown on here, and am now starting a big project, the Apostles Clock. All of a sudden I now have a loud knock in the saw. I have striped down the saw and tightened...

replied to Why is it that......
I have to laugh, everything seems to work that way. I like golf. Why do we just miss the hole most of the time instead of going in most of the time. It does get frustrating.
