    I do production cutting and have used my DeWalt for 11 years.. Never once had any issues with the blade chucks.. rebuilt (New Bearings / Sleaves ) the saw 2 times and it needs it again.. I bought the EX21 as a saw to use while the DeWalt was apart last year and then make one of the two a back-up saw.....

    Hmm, I read on another message board that the thumb screws are the same size.. and they said they used their screws they had from their old clamp because they had bought some special steel ones with a knurled knob.. so I guess I would assume the screws would work.. then I also read where the only difference...

    Thanks for all the replies, I understand that they'll last a very long time.. guess since I do production cutting of fretwork style cutting I had some concern of replacements.

    I figured they most likely would.. Be nice if they put them on the web sites that offer the blade chucks.. I haven't found them online yet.. which is why I was asking if they have them available or if the the originals fit.. From what I've read.. the originals do not fit..

    Now that these have been out for some time for the Excalibur I've been seeing some chit chat about the thumb screw tips ( rotating tip inserts that goes into the end of the thumb screw ) are a different size.. I've seen people asking where to get replacements. I've heard the OEM Excalibur ones fit but...
