Planeur so glad you were able to hook up with this website forum. You should be a nice addition!

What have you folks done hardware wise to compensate for the weight during the flip over from one piece of equipment to the other? And then what about locking in place? Just curious.

Hello from beautiful Arizona! The scroll saw is a versitile tool which should compliment your carving quite well. Welcome to our group!

Welcome to our awesome forum. Sad for your back problems, but happy you are with us now.
I sit on a comfy and ergonomic chair at my scroll saw many hours each day. And, by having the table with the back raised higher than the front end of the saw, it is even better for my back, shoulders, and...

Spectacular deal for you, and the store no longer has to mess with it. But I have to say it's good to know that they have the high standards not to try to sell a returned item for full price. Good for you keeping an eye out for details and deals.

The Makers Space would apparently be an awesome idea, if it weren't for the pandemic. Every one I found in our area either closed their doors, or are not open to the public until things change. Thanks for the ideas though....

On their official FaceBook posts today, someone posted that Ortur just announced that in April they will have 40watt to add to the lineup of 7, 15, and 20 watt.

I bought one late in 2020. So far I love it, and use it far more then my old table saw. The biggest reason is that I feel safer. But I have fallen in love with the fence system. New horizons!

Can't get mine yet in Arizona, although I'd love to. Don't have enough vaccines here, so we are still focused on high exposure 'essential workers' and people over 75. I have a sister in assisted living with hospice people and care givers that come and go everyday...they still haven't received the...
