I have already posted about the car and van in the photo, but I realized that the minivan needed a camping trailer - the birthday girl (3) and her sister play "camping" a good deal.
The hitch is a 5/8th birch dowel and the hitch pin is a 1/4" axle.

Why you need a 4" hand screw clampI bought a couple of these 4" hand screw clamps last fall to keep my fingers out of the disc sander when sanding small pieces. However, I keep finding other uses. In fact, I am using them for items I formerly just could not do at all.

People, like yourself, who can maintain such a fine control of line leave me in the dust. The shaping of the letters shows great sensitivity to form, Unless one has tried cuts like that in oak it is hard to appreciate how much the grain fights the direction of the cut.

New carsAs I mentioned in my "Speed Stegosaurus" post, I needed a couple of cars for a three-year old's birthday. Again, simplicity of construction, rounded corners, and ability to take abuse were the prime criteria. These now await paint.
