Spalted Maple
I have a whole pile of spalted maple in my backyard that is great to work with. My problem is that I read about a proceedure to neutralize the spalting process so it is safer to work with. The dust created is not bothering me, but I don't want to take any chances. Any suggestions?

Reply to Rolf,by RolfJust under 2 " of rain with more on the way. We don't seem to have any flooding issues where we live. Sandy soil, 3/4 mile from the bay with decent elevation. Lots of Long Island did not fare as well according to the news. They seem to have gotten it worse west of us.
