You should post this on the general woodcarving thread. Although I would be happy to do it I live North of Toronto in Ontario, Canada just a little far to travel. I will keep you in mind though as I have contacts all over the US if I am in contact with one in the Bay area I will let you know

Bear woodcarving in a Pine Stump

My wife and I are interested in employing a wood sculpture in our area who will carve a pair of bears to be mounted into the stump of our former Canary Island Pine tree. Can you help us by putting us in contact with a carver in the San Francisco East Bay Area.

    Thank you.

I have had my Bosch Miter Saw since early 2000 and have used them three or four times at the most, That said is this new or is used? I am almost certain that they are available from unless the saw model has been discontinued

You can find them on ebay for your saw. Like KarlB, I have had my Makita Chop saw since 2010 and used the hold downs maybe three times. They have their purpose. That saw does need a bit of TLC. Check and make sure it is properly setup.

Yeah they are pretty popular. My brother makes them and sells them in the central FL area. I gave him some hardwood pieces to make some.
