Finally finished

Started this several months ago and finally finish this today. Had to work this in between work, home chores, and other repair projects for friends. Plans are courtesy of Steve Good, just love his projects and plans. Made from 1/4" Maple plywood with Golden Pecan stain topped with spray poly.

Really nice work! I personally prefer a Semi gloss or Satin finish. The only time I may use a gloss finish is on some wood turnings.

Here is somes of my inserts , in ebony , and I put to reinforce at the back of the bird (chickadee ) a MDF with real wood on each side , total of .096" , because the cuttings was very delicates ! Still have some sanding on a couple of them!

Alex Fox C - 03 Basket
