Great job. More ambition than I would have to do something with that many cuts. How many blades?Betty

Three layers of what looks like Walnut. How thick? WOW. Using a #1 Pegas skip tooth @ 22.7 TPI.
You really challenged yourself. Lots of control but some seriously slow cutting.
The end result is beautiful. Is that a Charles Hand pattern?

Three layers of 1/8 for the blade you used makes more sense. Looking at the photo it looks like it is 3/4".
I used to use the Olson 2/0R at 28 TPI when stack cutting 6 1/16 layers of BB when making ornaments with lots of fine detail.Rolf

I bought 11 patterns of collapsible wood baskets from the Cherry Tree back about 1995. They are not copies, they are origionals and some are large. I do not know the laws well enough to know if I can share copies of these plans with members of this grpup or not. What I like about these baskets is that...Today, 12:34 AM

Reply to Stack CuttingI had considered useing a hot glue gun but I like to be able to reuse some of the bigger waste pieces. Also when I use brads and they extend through the bottom piece I am always carefull to take a small hammer and tap the points back up flush with the bottom piece so I do not scratch the table.
