WIP Dove and Cross Intarsia

This is a Judy Gale Roberts design. I have one more wing section to cut. Instead of cutting all the individual feathers I am going to use a "wonder wheel" to bring them out. Woods are aspen, walnut, maple and red cedar.

Still a way to go but here you can see how the wonder wheel is doing. I think the tail is close to where it will end up.

That was the book that opened my eyes to how beautiful scroll saw bowls could be. I adapted his technique so a router wasn’t necessary, and used his beautiful bowls as an inspiration to develop my own style.

I did the two on the top only with my scroll saw. Much faster with lathe but you cannot add Initials or decorations....
