  • Dream Catchers

One of the artists at ArtCrafters brought one of my Dream Catchers to a Native American store in Gatlinburg. The owner wants five more. I had all but the “Deer”. I contacted Sue Mey and within two days, she posted this pattern. I purchased it from her site. Made from 1/2” Eastern Red Cedar and cut on the old DeWalt. I still need to make the feathers, finish, and assemble. The other four are Wolf, Dragonfly, Hummingbird, and Tribal Turtle.

Beautiful Denny. I can see why there is a demand.

I just saw her posting today of the dream catchers and other items. I made the heart one when my daughter moved to Texas. I’m going to make the jewelry holder just posted by Sue for my granddaughter.

I will but it may be a while. Haven’t touched my saw or a piece of wood since Christmas. Also can’t find my work bench either. Haven’t looked for it yet either. 😂😂

It looks great, at 1/2" you could stack cut them. They should command a nice price, especially in Gatlinburg.

The one in the Cedar really pops. I don't normally like strong grains on fretwork projects because the details tend to get lost. But on these it really enhances what you have done.

                              Thanks Rolf. I used whatever 1/2" x 8" material I had available.
