        Your step by step process is very well explained Mike, are you a school Teacher by any chance?
        This was fun to follow and I hope the folks who can will save your tutorial wip in the Sticky section. Eager to see the project ready for delivery. A big thank you for your time, I picked up lots of tips.

            To Gloria--You are welcome! I'm not a teacher per se but have conducted plenty of classes through the years.Taught electrical code classes, pen turning, Intarsia, and have done a number of tutorials on jig builds.All fun stuff for me.

                Ready to Ship

                Yesterday I got the final coat of poly on the box and got the Intarsia glued into place. I applied 3 coats of spray on Satin poly to the Intarsia. Today I Installed the hinges , lid chains and did the linings on the inside of the box. Printed and installed the wood list and signed the back. Will ship it tomorrow. Hope you all enjoyed seeing this project come to life . For my next project I will be--------

                  Sweeeet to the max..........what is the lining made of? Wood, paper, cloth, too detailed for flocking, I think......curious mind wants to know. Thanks again Mike.

                    Hi Gloria
                    I buy different remnants of upholstery material from the fabric store, take photos and give the client choices to pick from. I use a rotary cutter to cut it to size and glue it in.
