Is that cut like the collapsible baskets? Where is that pattern available, please? [email protected]
Yup it's just as you say, like a collapsible basket. Then sanded wit a Dremel drum sander. I don't believe it but I found my pattern.
The first three pages are the pattern. You can see the joint lines.
I have no idea what i was doing in the last tree pages. I think I used 3/4" stock and something around 3 or 4 degree bevel. If you have any problem let me know and I put together a better pattern.
The Hegner like some other saws have a sweet spot or not so sweet spot where they may vibrate. I know they need to have a solid footing.

I assume you are talking about changing the stroke length. Looking at the manual it says you can shorten it for cutting thin wood and or metal. I have never known anyone that did that. We have several Hegner owners in our club. I am not one of them.
Has anyone replaced the eccentric on the Hegner scroll saw or made any adjustments to this part.
