Cut from 1" pine and stained mocha. I tried to make it look antique and used. One more light touch with 400 and last coat of clear

I missed something what is the stand for?
I can't believe you did all that shaping with a Dremel. That is a very interesting piece.Rolf

Rolf. I made each piece three pieces with two 5 degree bevel cuts, glued and pushed them out, blended the edges inside and out. I gouged all surfaces and edges with a fast swirling motion with the Dremel drum sander, smoothed it all with the same motion and 80 grit flap wheel. Making sure I got to the bottom of any deeper gouges. Then a quick hand sanding with 220 and 400. I used a 3/16" round burr in some tight spots.
It all started from working out a technique to try and do some carving.
I liked the results and can be interesting for frames and other pieces.
I don't think I have 30 minutes in each of the uprights and never took the edge off the drum. This is pine, I'm sure more work would be involved with hard wood. LOTS OF DUSTMay the wind at you back .....

Reply to Recommendations anyone?by old fa_tAfter totally over-thinking this, I have decided to go ahead with the Micro Mark Saw. It will enable me to do everything I can imagine in my limited space and budget.
I thank everyone for offering advice, and I look forward to receiving more. As soon as I get it and set it up, I will post pictures...-

Reply to Need any wood?by will8989Figured it out. The photos were Live and I had to edit them. As you can see, we were quite lucky they didn’t come crashing down in a storm. The last picture was a 2 trunk tree. My son already split a truck load today.
Next project, the roofer next week. Yippee....-

Reply to Need any wood?by handibunnyBetty, I just tried a test, using a standard jpeg file. I clicked "upload attachments", then selected the photo I wanted to upload, then double clicked the photo, and it uploaded without a problem. Go figure!
