  • Bunny dishes with Lids

Here are my bunny dishes with lids. First pic shows my unique glueing system for the lids. Works for me! LOL

Second pic is the dishes with glittery bunnies on top, waiting for the poly. Poly goes on in a little while, after I finish my coffee.

These dishes are the last items for the craft fair. Now to clean up my mess and get back to the SW Landscape intarsia project on my workbench.

Thanks for looking at my WIP pics.

They turned out adorable. I like your improvisational gluing technique.

      Bunny dishes.

      Hi Nancy.

As soon as I saw your bunny dishes I fell in love with them and would love to make some just like it. If it is not to much trouble could you explain how you made them, they look so cute. Also where did you get the pattern for the rabbit. Many thanks.

Nancy - I really like your covered dishes. I also like you glue/clamp method. Did you have soup for lunch or did you have to wait for the glue to dry first?
If you don't mind, I'm thinking about stealing your idea, but cutting the bunny as an inlay. I need new a project, so that I can pratice my new inlay cutting skills.

                Hi Donna,

Steal away, a bunny inlay on the lid would look great!

My "Campbell clamp method" was also used to attach the bunny to the lid.

I had spaghetti for lunch, by the way. LOL

                  Thanks, Rob,

Larger projects call for Del Monte or Green Giant tools and maybe even a Jiff.

                    Siouxgirl and Mike,

Glad you like my little bunny dishes, thanks for posting.

My glueing clamp method has served (pun intended) me well while working at the dining room table. It all started when I was too tired to walk out to the shop for clamps and decided to open the pantry door. LOL
