  • Iwo Jima::::

    I have been working on this project for some time & finally got this far with it. Need to make the frames for them now. Have some ideas for a frame design, but, not sure yet. I used 1/4 in. oak & stack cut them for a first time stack cut. I had some problems with the ply warping, but, will be able to correct that when I frame them. Any comments are welcome. Thanks

    That is quite the undertaking. Nicely done.

              Drilling all those holes must have taken a long time. I don't mind the cutting, but hate drilling the holes. Very nice work

                Thank you for your kind words. I aggree with the drilling, Larry, it is really a pain, since I had to drill all the center ones with a hand drill. My drill press would not reach that far. I think there were more than the ones I drilled with the press. Anyway, it was a long time venture & I really enjoyed doing it. Now for the frames. Thanks again.

                        Glad things worked out.

                        I just updated my older PC. The hard drive was 500 gb and eight years old. I cloned it to a one TB SSD (solid state drive). Put the cloned drive in and worked perfectly with all my old programs. The computer is now much faster. The new drive was about $100 and...

                        Once upon a time ( in the 70's) i attempted bow hunting. I believe the bow had a 45 pound draw. I quickly learned that it was not for me. It takes lot of hard work and practice just to be fair at it. Good is a whole different level. I hope you do better than I did.
