Had to play inside today

I stayed in and painted a few ornaments I wasn't planning to paint.

Don, These are all 1/8" BB but I often use whatever scrap fits the purpose.
The paint is the cheapest brand Michael's carries about a buck a bottle and if you join their on line site you can usually print a good discount coupon..
If you are going to stain do it first and give them a quick shot of shellac or clear acrylic and the paint covers much better.
Be sure and have plenty of helpers.

It stops the wood from sucking the water from the water based paint letting them level a little better and less second coating.
The only time I use paint is on ornaments and toys.
Ornaments I only paint one side and give them a final coat or two of clear acrylic.

It ain't bad. It's better than basket weaving down at the home.

The little helpers are very tired I guess, was it before or after they helped you? ...lol
