    I figured the price of each board used and came up with a board ft average price of $8.75, 4 bd ft for the cutting board $35.00 x 4 = $140.00. He cut the boards to size and sanded everything today. It’s going to be a nice looking board when he is done.

    Maybe you two should discuss the price before he sets one----and settle on something right around the middle of your two. Less likely to err in either direction too much.     If I am envisioning this correctly, I think your price might be a bit better. Lots of hardwoods, lots of gluing/clamping/sanding, etc. For the price Bruce has on his grinders, I can't see him getting just the equivalent of 2.5 grinders out of as much work as I see in that board.     You mean the perfect circle I cut on my saw Rolf? He sanded it and rounded it over. We see her mostly at Christmas time but she spends a lot. Of course, I give her my favorite customer discount that I give to some.
