  • 10" long truck.

    This is what I have been making lately. I have made over 100 so far.

        I like using 1/4" dowels as axles. This truck is made using pegs. I have used pegs, but prefer dowels. (Easier to keep aligned). I cut the sides on my scroll saw but the 3" wide hood is cut on my band saw.

          Jim when I was a member of a woodworking club we made hundreds of toys for donations every year. We got our parts from here by the thousands. We used mostly their wheel seconds. 99% useable.

          For the record I moved away or I would likely still be involved with that effort.

              Getting ready for your Farmer's Mkt to start? Ours runs year round on Sunday and Saturday, from 3/30 until 12/21. We have some dairy, chicken, beef, goat,mini produce, mushroom farmers etc that's why they have it on Sundays. TOO COLD FOR ME!!!
