Looks great and won't take much easier to keep them feed and the tank clean.

This is one of those projects that when I saw it, I had to make it...
the stained glass, rock and light was my idea, I used 10 different woods...
this thing only measures 10x101/2...this a fun project

      thanks for looking, Trout

Leave it to Trout to make a fish tank. You did a fantastic job.

As usual you have taken a project to another level. The stained glass and other details really make this pop. What did you use for lighting?

I started this project a month or so ago, I was into it for the first week but when it was time for the light and top the project come to a holt..
I should of taken a picture of the light and how I have it mounted because that worked out good..
I’m using a 15 watt appliance light, but it gets to hot so I’m need a smaller bulb...it won’t light up as much but that’s better than it catching on fire..

i made this for my 8 year old grand daughter for her new room..

I also used that self leveling plastic coating stuff on the rocks to hold them in place. That stuff is pretty cool but can get messy, I still have rocks glued onto my work brench..

                  Have you considered LED lighting?

I put in a little 5 watt night light bulb and it works just fine..it really is meant to be lite all the time...
Maybe the next time I try and light something up I’ll look into the LED’s...

I’m going to deal with it tomorrow. As for a hammer. We buried my last uncle 2 weeks ago. He was 87 and a farmer and “handy man”. The one thing he was handy with was a hammer. Tractor, didn’t run. Hit it with a hammer. Window didn’t open. Where’s that hammer. We have pictures of him with...

It also works well when you want to glue down a pattern. Attach the pattern to the contact paper, and when you’re done cutting just peal it off. No residue to clean up!
