  • New Toys

Hi all, here are some toys I made in the last few weeks for my grandkids. The dolls bed is approx' 16"x8"x8" with the logo's decoupaged on. My Daughter made the covers and pillows and my 9 year old grandaughter Maddy did the painting with a little help. She also painted the stable and horses. The stable is approx' 14"x11"x9". The swing is approx' 24"x24". It should have been in natural pine but my grandaughter wanted it pink, so pink it is. The train and carriages are approx' 9"x 5". All the toys are made from pine and ply.
Bed, swing and train are from patterns from Berry Basket and the stable is from the book "Scrollsaw Toy Projects" by Ivor Carlyle. All the toys can be scaled to desired size. Sorry if the pics are not very good (the wife took them, honest).

I bet that in your grandkids' book you're the best grandpa. Great job on the toys. I really like the bed and swing.

By the way, your wife did a fine job on the photos too. It's nice that the whole family did a little something. Makes it more fun.
