  • Winchester Rifle ::

    Almost finished with this rifle of Steve Goods pattern. I revised it a little, but, a great pattern. Thanks Steve. I waited for a while before doing it, but, glad I got it finished. I enjoyed doing it. It's 24 inches long with 1/2 in dowel for barrel's.

        Well done! I allways wanted a real one. But I don't hunt any more so I guess that well never be. Lance

          Thanks for the comments. I did make a gun rack for it, out of Deer antler & barn board. This is the finished piece. I didn't plan on it being the same length as my Gila mountain cutting, but, it was the same. Thought it might look good hanging together.

                Hey, Chuck D., it's on Steve's site under the Western catagory, near the bottom of the list. Just checked it out for you, buddy.

                        G'day Perk,
                        That is a fanbloodytastic piece mate. You beat me to it, with the "Two Colts". I can see the rifle fixed to a board with pegs for hats under it and colts on the sides.

                                I checked out www.ULine.com We used them years ago at the company I used to work at, and they were really reputable to work with. They have machines, guns, bags, and film. I just don't really know what works best, as well as if there is a really great priced to buy from. To date I've been a frugal...

                                Well, I used to get my shrink wrap rolls from AC Moore, and just used the last roll😟. I use a heat gun but lately and only shrink the Sealife puzzles to keep the pieces in place. I only use it on puzzles because of my display board otherwise I would have broken pieces all over the place. Also easier...

                                We did. I only went $40 over budget. I got a 73” x 12” x 3/4” curly cherry for $55. Just needs to be run through the sander and cut to size. It’s a pinkish cherry and is so pretty. A piece of deep red redwood, 2 pieces of walnut each about 12” wide. Good haul.
