Hi Styrk1, that's a great looking clock, and better than anything that I have ever done. My profile is a little misleading in that the clocks I made were not scrolled but built up from clock parts and brass and steel cases. I haven't done one for years now, I'm too busy scrolling. Would love to do something like your steam engine.

Hi Styrk1 - being brought up not to far from Mick's neck of the wood I also share his passion for steam engines although in my case I'm a little more familiar with ones put to agricultural use or for use in local textile mills.

You've made a fantastic job of your engine and I could well imagine it sitting as a display item in a museum or on a collectors shelf.

Thanks for posting something which is a little bit different from what we normally see on the forum.

Btw - that's also a great looking clock!

                        It looks very nice!
I have been considering building a 1:12 scale brass beam steam engine, I built several valve and occilo engines, I just need some time!
