Unbelievable! I'm a novice so may I ask some questions?
Was there a pattern or did you design it yourself?
What tools, besides a scroll saw, were used?
How many hours do you estimate?

          wow....

the patterns are by Gatto supply and you can get the truck pattern through Cherrytree but you can only get the tanker pattern through the Gatto supply website..

Gatto Plan Supply - The finest in wooden model plans!
          Home Page @ Cherry Tree

I've been pretty happy with Gatto supply up until now, I ordered the grader pattern on January 4, the charge went through my bank on the 6th and here it is the 15th and I still don't have my pattern!

as for the time it took me to complete the whole project, 8 months...
each peice took about 3 weeks to complete, some day's I would work an hour and others days I would work 10 hours on it...

as for the tool, scroll saw, bandsaw, drill press, 4 inch & 1 inch belt sander..

Just looking at The New Scroll Saw Handbook by Patrick Spielman and found a picture of this saw on page 47. Make is unknown and photo was submitted by a Henry Aldinger. Is submitted as an early electric scroll saw.
