  • My Truck & Tanker project

I needed a lift today so I thought I would set up my photo studio and take some pictures of my Troutbuilt truck and it's tanker trailer.

I do have a couple finishing touches but it's ready to be bragged on....

I used Padauk for the lights..

all that's left is the top hatch covers...

notice the slight bow to the tank, that's the only flaw.
I guess I concentrated to much on getting the bottom straight for the frame.

        thanks for looking..

Looks like she's ready to load and deliver. If you decide you really can't live with the bow then just send it down this way and I'll try and bring myself to overlook it. That's just killer work. How about linking pictures of some of the other models I see sitting there on the left, those look equally impressive. Pat

Thanks guys, I have a lot of HDU left over from my sign business in various thicknesses.
HDU doesn't "fuse" or repair itself under heat or friction. Only acrylics and some PVC materials do that. Depending on what part of the world you are in, you would have to google HDU Distributors...

My kids always call me since I am the one who probably did the stuff they are calling about.

I know it's scary to get that call, but I'm glad to hear the charge exited where it did before it went any further.

Probably hurts like hell and he has a copper taste in his mouth...
