Sanding scroll saw projects
I've been carving pierced, deep relief carvings of acanthus leaves and other decorations. They're tough to clean up, to get rid of band saw or scroll saw marks. I just tried some sanding strips that fit my scroll saw, and they're slicker than a snail's eye. Got them from Sloan's but I suspect others sell them too.Tags: None

I built these many years ago using scrap 1 inch and 2x4. Drilled as many holes as needed for tjhe different sized blades I used. It has always worked great for me and I don't have any trouble finding the blades....

Reply to Scrollsawsby will8989Search for a used hegner. Parts are readily available and their service Dept is top notch. My first one was a craftsman and hubby bolted it to the workbench it was on. Then I switched to a bandsaw than my Hegner 21 years ago....
