  • Paint removal

I have a fairly detailed scrolled project that my wife tried to “help” me with. She tried painting it with chalk paint. However because the paint was so thick, it covered most of the details. Any thoughts on how to remove paint from inside the cuts? Thanks!

Depending on the details, not so easy. Because the paint is so thick it may not have soaked into the edges. You could carefully use a spiral blade like a file in your saw. I have also used an exacto knife. It may be easier to just cut a new one.
    Could you post a picture.

Was the wood sealed in anyway before the paint was added?
