What seems to be a good common outside paint, to use on outside projects?

Paint or stain? I prefer to stain and then use a "Spar Urethane" finish over the stain. if you paint the wood use any exterior paint such as house paints or I have used acrylics with good success.

I use a water-based exterior acrylic for outside stuff.
We have a number of different types in Oz all with 10 to 20 year guarantee's.

Thanks for the info Denny. When I cut acrylic I always use a skip tooth blade at a slower speed. I just did not realize that the epoxy would cut the same way as acrylic so I followed the materials list in the article.

OK folks, picture. I finally figured out how to upload a picture. Here is one each of my version of the oak and cherry boxes. Note the axle peg holding the top in place but allowing it to move.
