  • Ocooch shipment

    Had to get a few pieces of hardwood and once again turned to Ocooch for some help.
    Among the shipment was a piece of cherry for a commission and some beautiful butternut. (If you have never cut butternut, get a stick. It works beautifully.)

    That's one of my favorite places when I need a piece of wood that's not carried by my local lumberyard. I've seldom been disappointed, and on that rare occasion when something isn't right, it's been taken care of.

      Ocooch is a great place. I love them. I haven't tried butternut yet, but I will with my next order! Thank you for the scrollers thumbs up Jim. Hope you guys are doing well. Indiana sounds....cold!

        Butter nut is sometimes called "poor mans walnut" . Thick stock makes excellent compound cutting projects.
