Thanks for the heads up. I have a model 780 with in the range. I had a piece of the guard disintagrate about a year ago, when a small piece of wood got jambed in that area and the shute broke, At that time, I tried to get a replacement and found it was no longer available I removed the remaining pieces and have been using it without it. Fortunately I was not injured during the incident.I just contacted Dewalt and have a repair kit on it's way.
