Good evening, I have recently bought an antique scroll saw. The saw has no identifying markings. I have attached a picture bellow. I really don’t know much about the history of these machines, and I found nothing elsewhere. If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

Wow that is different? I have never seen one with that type of mechanicals. No markings on the casting anywhere?
That would be a fun restoration.Rolf

No Markings and a front mounted flywheel ? Really interesting & cool Crayfish
I've seen a few and own one pedal scroll saw that was converted to electric, but nothing like this.
If I were to guess, it looks like it may be cobbled together from other saws ?
One person you could ask the THE EXPERT on scroll saws, Rick Hutcheson
here's his website:

Thanks, I will ask him. I do not believe this is a Cobbled together saw based on its construction, and 2 of the exact same saws sold on eBay a while ago. The only website with any information is :https://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...-motor-vintage
which suggests these type of saws where produced then.

I still don't think it was mass-produced though.
