  • Excalibur EX-19 from early 1990's - Pre-sale advice needed

I have an Excalibur EX-19 which I purchased 13 years ago. I updated it with the improved clamps (purchased from Seyco).
The saw works well. I would like to sell the saw, but haven't seen any of the EX-19's for sale for quite some time, so I am not sure what the saw is worth. Is there still a market for this saw? It is one of the early ones, built by Sommerville in Canada in 1993.

I would sell it with the stand (which is not the "official" Excalibur stand), and the foot pedal.

      Are you interested?

No. I was just asking so I could suggest a price. I am thinking $300 to start with.

Actually, it turns out that my saw isn't an EX-19. It is an EX-11, which apparently is an earlier version of the EX-19. It has a 3-position pulley for speed changes.

              From a "Pen" forum:
Wife, calling out from another room: "Do you ever get a stabbing pain in your chest, you know, like someone is sticking pins in a Voodoo doll with your image on it?"

              Me: No, Why?

Wife (about 5 seconds later) "How about now...

That's adorable! I haven't received my copy of that issue yet. I think it went slow truck this time. When I do I am going to check that out!

It was great to receive the summer issue today as the snow squalls were flying I was very excited to copy to try the fretwork Parrot by Charlie Dearing. I have spiral blades on order and should be receiving them soon as well. Did you mean to cut the last bit of tail off. It looks odd that it has...
