  • free delta blade clamps and parts

    Hi folks,
Before I took my dead Delta Q3 and its stand to the town dump, I removed the upper and lower blade clamps. I also have a couple of mini on-off switches that fit it and some extra of the small c shaped spring that makes the clamps work. If anyone could use them, I will be happy to put them in a padded mailer and snail mail them to you. If you want them, pm me with your name and mailing address and they are all yours. First message gets them.

George, I don’t need them but wanted to tell you that it was very kind of you to make such a nice offer. I hope someone can benefit from your generosity.

Thank you George!, No more rummaging yard sales for rusty old Delta's that I scavenge parts from. My Hawk is now good to go for the duration.

Good for you Rolf! I really like the design of the Delta clamps. I have a pair installed on my Craftsman backup saw. I had a Delta P20 that had them and they worked great. I wish I could use them on my Hegner but it would require modifying the ends of the arms which I'm not willing to do.

I have never understood why other manufacturers did not pick up on a similar design. I am sure cost was a factor. I know that Jet's saw has a cam action clamp but that is even more complex in that it grips and tensions in one operation.
