Shoot! I went online to order it for pick up at our local Sears, which is really just a small satellite outlet, and it seems our stores location is not available for shipping for online orders! So it looks like the money I would save with the sale that is going on will be spent for shipping to my house.

Bummer but you would pay that regardless so you;ll still save, right ?

Pitbull, while it is true that my shop will never be mistaken for Todd's , that is actually a piece of wood on top of the can for an extra table . The can below it is only about half full

As for the cup holder , it's to the right of the steering wheel ...how could you not see that ?

Be careful when you push back from your saw the 4 legged ones have a tendency to flip backwards. All 4 legged chairs with and without wheels have been banned in our workplace. My wife bought me a chair from Sams Club. They call it a cutting stool, how appropriate.

Rolf, that is the same stool I have. If I may make a suggestion, which sounds crazy until you try it, straddle the chair with the back support against your chest, or stomach. I do and even with a bad back I can scroll for many hours.

I just finished rebuilding my friends 2nd EX 21, This one was in much better shape than the first. No rusty bearings this time but I re-greased them anyway.
I adjusted the front back motion and and the blade is also at 90 degrees to the table when using the locating pin.

If it means the difference between cutting something and doing nothing, then go for it. It might not be the choice of most of us, but we aren't working under the same constraints as you. Hope it works out for you. Looking forward to a review, once you get a few miles on it.

After totally over-thinking this, I have decided to go ahead with the Micro Mark Saw. It will enable me to do everything I can imagine in my limited space and budget.
I thank everyone for offering advice, and I look forward to receiving more. As soon as I get it and set it up, I will post pictures...

Figured it out. The photos were Live and I had to edit them. As you can see, we were quite lucky they didn’t come crashing down in a storm. The last picture was a 2 trunk tree. My son already split a truck load today.

Next project, the roofer next week. Yippee....
