Just watched a commercial on this..........looks pretty versatile........anybody have any experience with these? I am not looking to replace my scroll saw, just to possibly have another handy power tool. Thanks

I reviewed one for the magazine a few issues ago. It's like combining a saber saw with a router table. I found it really useful, and I'd choose the Bladerunner over one of the inexpensive desktop band saws...

I bought one shortly after they first came out.....i had some hi expectations, but after a couple of months of use i found that for the price a plain old jig saw was just as useful and with the extra cost of any of the add-ons was just not worth the cost........mine had a lot of viabration, tried all kinds of ways to make it jiggle less but to no avail.
especially when useing the wall mount....after about an hours use my hands tingled for about 20 minutes or so.....ended up giving it to a relative.........says he likes it, but just doesn't find it THAT usefull either. seemed to cut well.........just was a waste of cash on my part.

I have one and I really like it. I use it in place of my small band saw. I have not experienced any vibration with it. It won't replace the scroll saw though. I find it to be a very useful tool.

I have one and it does vibrate quite a bit with harder woods. I do not have much workshop room and this takes the place of a table type saw. I have also used it as a jig saw with great success on less tightly turned projects.

I purchased mine at Sears here in Edmonton and it appeared that they were discontinuing the item. They had it listed at $99. Same machine at Lowes was listed at $149.
I have used it a couple of times now and find it very convenient.

Sorry to hear that Scott. Bruce had it but I never did. And I try to isolate from Bruce whenever I can. ūü§™ We were even around our son and grandson right before they were diagnosed and nothing for us. I guess I overdid the shopping Carole. I tried to sign onto our bank tonight and it is ‚Äútemporarily...

My saw is in a severe state of depression due to alleged abandonment. We have been clearing Becky's office since her retirement. She one of the last two original occupants of that new building in 2001, so it has been a lot of trips to the recycling bin with student thesis files, convention papers and...

Whatever therapy works for you - is a good therapy. Glad your touch/retail therapy was beneficial for you Betty.

Scott, I am so sorry to ear that you and your wife have both had to fight through Covid. I hope this means that you are both on your way to healing, if a bit slowly....
