Went to turn on my hitachi the other day and nothing happened. After trying everything i could think of i checked the motor by straight wiring it.It worked so it seems i have a bad circuit board which costs over half what my saw cost. Not sure yet what i'm going to do.

Try the switch thing first before giving up. I think you will be surprised.

D.W. is absolutely right. I eliminated the on/off switch, and use a foot pedal from Harbor Freight. There is also a foot switch on Amazon.com for a few bucks more. I have been using HF pedal for about 4 years of almost daily use.

I also had the same problem with my Hitachi, I put new switches in and it would work for a while then same problem. I eventually went and put one of the old switches in and press prongs and connector hickeys towards each other and the switch would work again. It became a pain for me and I don't know anything really about wiring so I just found a way better saw and put the Hitachi in the corner as a "just in case" Good luck.

.
From my last few doctor visits there has been an assistant typing in all of the information while the doctor is talking.
As difficult as it is to to read this stuff, it is always a good idea to verify the information.-

Reply to Bruce’s charge denied by Medicareby handibunnyThe good thing is that it's so transparently incorrect it shouldn't be too hard to get it corrected. I hate carelessness and incompetence. Even if you can get things fixed, what a waste of time!...

Reply to Bruce’s charge denied by Medicareby Quartz43Fighting something like this is always a pain.
However, I have found Medicare really good with billing. The hostile doctors sometimes make coding errors.-
