  • a problem with blades

Hello, I have a Hitachi 16" scroll saw and prefer to use spiral blades. The bottom blade holder I am finding hard to get at to tighten blade. Does anyone know of any other type of blade holder I could get that is compatible with this brand? I would prefer to use some type of quick release.

To fit a spiral blade in a clamps, I would put the ends in a vise to tighten them somewhat.

Having previously owned a Hitachi CW40, I can tell you the easiest way to get to the lower holder is to remove the left side panel--especially if you have medium to large hands.

Another thing I used was a T-handle 3mm allen wrench to give me a little more reach.
