Hi all,
I just acquired a delta 40-601 that is in great shape. I was in the process of "refurbishing" it today (cleaning, painting, new bearings, lube, etc..) and when I set the speed control rotor down the magnet broke into 3 pieces. I was able to epoxy it back together perfectly except for a small (1/16th") sliver that I could not find on ground. I was just curious if anyone who had experience with these knew if that would cause an issue while running. I don't really want to put it all back together to find out it doesn't work right, and I don't want to shell out the $$$ if it will work. Thanks for the help!
