My son gave me a Delta planer he doesn't have a use for any more. Took it out of the box today, planed down a couple of boards and think it's going to be very, very useful. Now all I have to do is learn to change and align the knives.
Any good advice available on this?

I used to have a delta planer. I think it was a 22-540. There was a metal jig used to align the knives. I may still have it. (lost the planer in a flood)
If you need it and I can find it you're welcome to it.
I know I have a dust collector connector no 50-259 still in the box. It has a 4" chip outlet but worked well with a 2.5" shop vac in the shop but I took it off going from jobsite to jobsite. Let me know if you want it.

Hi folks - I really feel sorry for you people north of the border.

Here in Central Mexico, apart from a couple of days at the end of January where we had a couple of showers in the evenings we have seen hardly any clouds in the sky during the day since the New Year and although we 've...

Wow! - this a stunning piece!

In particular the head is so lifelike it feels like if you got too close to this bird he (or she) would reach out and nip you with its beak....

        Hi all -

Around the beginning of year I mentioned in a post that I was looking at ways to extend my existing workshop space to give me room to accommodate a midi lathe I had bought and to also allow me to undertake smallish carpentry projects in addition to scrollsaw work. Well, I finally
